Harry Potter and the Goblet of a Really Bad Movie From A Book Convertion [Nov. 27th, 2005|10:03 am]

So last night I went and saw The new Potter flick. Wow...talk about a movie being over hyped. That's $6.50 I will never get back. NEVER. The movie starts out about three chapters into the book. I'm ok with that(they weren't important). Then they skipped the entire Quidditch World Cup game. That annoyed me but I let it slide expecting it to get better. Man was I wrong.They messed up the entire Barty Croutch Jr. story. They left out the entire House Elf Liberation Front story. They left out almost every classroom scene. They left out the entire Rita Skeeter is a Animagus story. They left out the entire Hagrid breeding Blast-Ended Skrewts story. Hell the list goes on..... and on ....and on. My point is that the movie was crap, and it was only entertaining because we were talking loudly and making fun of it. I highly recommend you NOT see it. Oh yeah and Snape kills Dumbledore!!!!!!

So I went and saw Corpse Bride last night. It was good, but Nightmare Before Christmas was better. If you like Tim Burton or Nightmare Before Christmas you might like this movie.Oh, and I think Brenna was there. I didn't say hi so I'm not sure.

ha ha ha...I'm an asshole. I won't deny it. I'm a harsh manipulative bastard. "Why do i say this?", you ask. Well I trying to make Ryan's girl friend dump him. I'm doing a pretty good job too. There are two reasons for this; one is she's a total snobby bitch and secondly I just want to see if I can. So today at lunch Ryan brings his girlfriend over to our table. Everyone leaves except for Cody, me, and Ryan's "new world". This annoys me because I was talking to the people that left. So I act like a complete ass hoping she will take the hint and leave. The stupid bitch just couldn't catch on. So then I start attacking Ryan hoping he will leave and take his whore with him. He just gets red in the face and takes about how he is going to beat me up. Now for those of you that know Ryan you know how funny it is to see him get angry.
I laughed in his face(he didn't like it) By then most of Ryan's "new world" had left, and then cody left. I to was tired of it and left. Good old Niles!

i hope this works. The last thing I tried did. Does anyone remember how great of friends Cody and Jordan use to be. Yep...that was me. Jordan was just to damn gullible. Good old Niles!


I can't wait to see "Corpse Bride" on Friday with Cody. Lets hope it doesn't suck.

I have come to a conclusion(and Cody agreed at the time). Well technically Cody said it and I agreed, but it doesn't matter that much who said it. During Outdoor Living while we were mocking Jeff for NEVER BEING WRONG and NEVER LYING(Ok I was mocking and Cody was laughing) we finally understood that mocking each other behind each other's backs needs to stop. It is getting to be less mature than our hokey catch phrases, and they are VERY immature(yet enjoyable). So hopefully Jeff and Tyler will read this and come to the same conclusion. Perhaps that's hoping for too much. Oh well. Atleast I made an inadvertent attempt to try.

So I have come to yet another conclusion. Some crazy girl from Texas makes me feel even more embarrassed to be within the vicinity of than Cody does. That is one monumental task. Yet she pulled it of with flying colors. The psycho(it seems hypocritical to call someone else psycho) is explaining VERY loudly the ENTIRE backstory and interactions of INUYASHA. It was one of the most embarrassing and funny things I have EVER heard. Now when ever you hear me talking a Southern or Texan accent you'll know that I am referring to this delightfully amusing girl. I guess Ezra knew her from last year. Too bad I couldn't have know about her last year. Alas. Oh yeah, I also sliced open the back of my hand. Yay me.

So I am now really glad school is back in session. "Why the hell would you say that?" you ask. Well now I can hang out with friends everyday. Wait... I did that this summer. Surprize!  So on second thought...Fuck School! Hmmm. For some reason I feel bad for saying that. No...wait...it passed. So I SERIOUSLY want into, Lib and Law, 6th Block. Damn you Miss Linsey! I don't have it till next semester. Everyone has it this semester. Damn.

 

So I've been feeling REALLY aqward lately. people have been talking to me and being all "Hey Niles!" "How was your summer Niles?" "How's your sister Niles?" I don't know these people but they know me. Amazingly some how there freakin ID's are always blocked somehow whether it be book, table, or shirt. Damn my luck! I really need to learn other peoples names. That or quit being trying to be the center of attention. Unlikely. Oh well.

Well at least I get to see Kelsi Kelley, Alison Schmit, and Lindsey Brown again A.K.A. The Girls that Act Excited to See Me. Lacey Hufford too, but I hung out with her all summer.

So I'm goin to read instead of doing my Physic's project. See Ya!

I just got seriously hit on, I think. Yay for being....I don't know, but something. So I'm waiting at the dentists and some girl comes out of the dentist's place where stuff happens. I don't know what it's called. You know what I mean. So back to the thing that matters. i was rubbing my eyes and my glasses were off. So any way for some reason she glanced my way. She claimed that she liked my eye lashes. Great my best feature is apparently my eyelashes. Why can't I have masculine features like a strong chin or massive biceps. oh well. I said she had nice eyes. A lie, but I felt she deserved a compliment. She claimed it was sweet. I laughed(not the best or worse response). She asked where I went to school. I accidently said Hillcrest. She then promptly walked out of the office. DAMN YOU HILLCREST!!!!!!!!!!!

So school is back in session. Damn! So as you all know I'm not in speech. Yay! However I will probably end up re-joining. God, I just know I'm going to regret that. I miss you guys and want to get to know the rest. As my disruption during first block probably indicated. i found it very amusing to see Kyle sitting between Brenna and Lauren. I really need to change my schedule.

So from Sunday to wednesday i did something every freakin day. Damn am I tired!
so I have decided that because of something that happened on Tuesday my new catch phrase is "Damnit..I accidentally opened a gate to Hell" There is a very long story behind that. So Tyler, Jeff, Cody,a nd I need to have a Smash Bros. tournament. Kyle you can come if you hold back. That's a compliment.

So one of you guys really need to tell me whether it is worth joining the team this year. If it isn't worth it then screw it.

I like how this turned out more like an e-mail, than a journal entry. yay me.

So now I really want to see Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children. I mean FFVII was fun, but when you see the trailer for Advent Children you really wish they would remake FFVII with better graphics. Expression: Something that makes Sephiroth look even cooler. Speed: Something that makes the fight between Sephiroth and Cloud look cool. Ok I really, really want to see it.

So I've decided that when a chorus sings about how evil and powerful Sephiroth is in Japanes it sound really good. Ex: One Winged Angel

so the fuck'in fair is finally over. if i ever see another wannabe cowboy, goth, punk,....hmmmm...well if i see anyone I will kill them in the most horrible way possible.

so the last two days of the fair I ended up having so freakin much fun. I did so much crap to other parkers. For example I put a cup of cow shit in travis gann's truck. The look on his face was PRICELESS! I also threw a sticky substance on EVERY parker. so yay it was fun getting paid to do nothing.

So I leave for San Francisco tommorrow. for nine days. yay.

Some people confuse mean almost beyond words. I am just confounded by them. The most confusing are the ones that wear black everything (hair, shirt, pants, boots, ect) when is over 90. I am working a gate at the fair and every day I see dozens of these people. I is obvious they are over heating. I can tell because they are sweating so much that their make-up is running. I feel slightly sorry for them. It almost makes me want to hand out sighs that say
"I AM ANGRY AT THE WORLD. FEEL MY RAGE" so that they don't need to burn up. I can understand the reason for wearing the flesh roasting uniform. yet i still feel that perhaps they would be happier if they traded in the black for a gray. Or perhaps they are cannibals and are cooking each other while they are alive to save time later. perhaps. or maybe they are so focused on getting where they are going that they are unaware that their skin is slufing off from being covered in third degree skin roasting. I don't know. if anyone knows please tell me.

Call me old fashion, but I love movies where humanity gets totally owned. It makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside when I see millions die instantly. Call me crazy.

So I saw War of the Worlds today. Huzzah! I was very happy. I always enjoy watching Tom Cruise. He is usually in good movies. I really enjoyed this one. Yay death and destruction. I read the book and saw the 60's version of the movie. This is much better. The book took freakin forever to get anywhere. The 60's version was extremely cheesy. This one was just right. It had awesome effects. Lots of death. Tons of screaming and one of the toughest choices I have ever seen(if you see it you'll know) God I could never make a decision like that. That had to just kill him inside. Geez it is hard not to say something important. The movie gets to the action within seven minutes of starting yet some ow it didn't feel rushed. I always enjoy Steven Spielberg's movies. This now my new favorite.

I will warn you of this. If you ever see anything strange run like hell. Aw hell. Just start running now. It won't help but it will be entertaining. Yay aliens. Yay crazy people. yay total annihilation.

You should all go see it. It will make you...hmmmm....just go see it.

Jeff's ignorant comments have spurred me to explain what I think makes a game great.

The number one thing that matters in my eyes is whether or not the game is memorable. Will you remember it a year from now? Is it good enough to reminisce about? If I can even remember it, it isn't worth my time.

The second most important thing is the endurance value. Can you play the game over twelve hours none stop? Can it hold my attention for the long run? If it gets boring after a short time, it probably is only worth renting.

The third most important thing is the story. Is the story worthy of being made a movie? Is the story good enough to be talked about with friends? A good storyline can truly make or break a game.

Many of you are now going to complain about my third selection. Not all games have storylines, you say. My favorite game doesn't have a story, you say. What's a storyline, you say. Your an exact clone of Cody because you agreed with something he said, you say. Well why don't you tell me the top three reasons that a game is great.

Thank God for FFX!!! [Jun. 27th, 2005|10:26 am]

Yay! I finally have every Final Fantasy X song. Great googly oogly! That is one freakin awesome sound track. It is four hours and twenty-seven minutes of remembrance and pleasure. The game is worth playing just for the music.

Final fantasy X is the ONLY redeeming thing about PS2. I hate everything else about it. PS2 got lucky with FFX. If not for that wonderful game I would have hunted down and slaughtered(brutally) the system developers.

I love the characters of FFX. I enjoyed every one. They weren't perfect but they were a hella lot better than most. Plus Lulu had HUGE hooters. Lucky Waca.

I loved the story of FFX. I have never been so into a games story. The plot was well developed. The twists were well placed. I would rather replay FFX than see a movie, and I love movies.

The graphics and cinematics are better than any other games then or today. Hell the cinematics are better than most movies. I would rather watch the cinematics of FFX than a movie.

The ending was better than 99.9999% of anything(I haven't played FFVII so i gave that 0.0001%) I freakin loved the ending of FFX. It was so f'n sad. i won't ruin it for you but it was great.

I dare say that Final Fantasy X is the best game that was ever created. I love RPG's so that slightly swayed my judgment but it is still top two without that sway. If you haven't played it you should, or I will butcher your family and everyone you love or care about.

       Play it now Damn it!

So it's Father's day. (blandly)huzzah. i think we're going to see a movie.

So i had some people over to swim yesterday. memo to self: get shock collar for Tyler. He was out of control. he poured nuts on the floor and refused to clean it up. He had "one cup" of mountain dew(no one had any, yet it's empty). he made really crappy jokes. He just wasn't on. he'll need to bring up his game in the second inning.

jeff however was on fire. he was polite. he was responsible. He was good at everything. he had too much ice cream but that's forgivable. he won the most enjoyable award. go jeff!

Cody was his usual self. I really am starting to believe he can't help it. Oh well i'm use to cody now.

next time it needs to be at Tyler's house. That way I can be rude and messy at his house. just returning the favor.

Jeff however was very good.

I am so bored. Not in the actual sense, because I have three new games, tv, porn, etc. i mean that I want to do something. It has been two days since I've done something with someone. That's too damn long! I planned on doing something everyday or every other day. I guess in retrospect I haven't called anyone....perhaps I should. What It's thursday, that means Tyler doesn't have summer school tomorrow. I think. yay I'm typing what I'm thinking. Huzzah. Someone call.Now!

I finally have my X-Box moded. Thank god. It has been freakin forever. So I randomly by my X-Box in Memphis, Tennessee. People, never by something expensive in Tennessee. The sales taxes is 9.7%. Holy hell that makes buying things suck. Also things suck from there. My X-Box was flawed. It has serious issues reading disks. So as everyone else got their's moded I couldn't because mine fails...HARD. So Chance vowed that he would find a way to mod mine. he made several attempts. several failures. This morning he succeed. he had to use some random installer he had just discovered. It looks so fugging awesome. The background is fire falling into a black sea. It sounds crappy but looks so awesome. The loading screen is molten lava. Hell yes. Now I can use emulators, watch DVD's(without the crappy expansion), and copy games to my X-Box(now I don't need the disk). So yesterday I was bored. Really bored. So figured I'd call Ryan. I walk into the study and reach for the phone. The phone rings as I touch it. It was Ryan. Freaky, I know. So I watch the jackson trial verdict as I get ready. I go over to Ryan's. We do stuff. We call people. We play Halo. The Tornado sirens go off.cool.

the power goes off. We do stuff in the dark(get your mind out of the gutter)power comes back on. We play more Halo. We watch Spirited Away(I do voice overs).So yeah I am bored of writing suddenly. If you really care just ask Cody. I going to bed now.
